BASIC DIGITAL LITERACY TEACHER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and deliver practical digital literacy lessons suitable for learners’ age and skill level. Teach learners the fundamentals of using computers and other digital devices. Teach basic computer operations, including starting, shutting down, typing, file management, and using peripherals. Introduce learners to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other essential productivity tools. Teach learners how to use email, Google Drive, Google Forms, Google Meet, and other basic online platforms. Introduce learners to internet browsing, online research, and effective use of search engines. Teach basic digital communication and collaboration skills. Educate learners on online safety, privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible digital citizenship. Guide learners in creating, saving, organizing, and sharing digital documents and files. Provide practical exercises and hands-on activities to reinforce digital skills. Assess learners’ digital skills through practical tests, assignments, and projects. Monitor learners’ progress and provide additional support where necessary. Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
