ECONOMICS TEACHER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons based on the approved curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and practical learning activities. Teach key economic concepts such as demand and supply, production, markets, inflation, unemployment, and national income. Explain economic theories and principles using real-life examples and current events. Help students understand how economic decisions affect individuals, businesses, and society. Develop students’ analytical, numerical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Encourage classroom discussions, debates, research, and active participation. Set and administer tests, examinations, assignments, projects, and other assessments. Assess students’ performance and provide constructive feedback. Monitor students’ academic progress and provide additional support where necessary. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, assessments, and student progress.
