FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING TEACHER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and deliver engaging lessons on Financial Accounting based on the approved curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and practical accounting exercises. Teach fundamental accounting concepts, principles, and procedures. Teach topics such as journals, ledgers, trial balance, cash books, financial statements, and bookkeeping. Explain accounting principles using practical business examples and real-world scenarios. Guide students in preparing and interpreting financial statements and accounting records. Teach students how to use basic accounting software and digital accounting tools where applicable. Set and administer tests, examinations, assignments, and practical exercises. Assess students’ performance and provide constructive feedback. Monitor students’ academic progress and provide additional support where necessary. Encourage students to develop strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
