KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the school curriculum. Teach and support pupils across key subject areas, including English, Mathematics, Basic Science, and Social Studies. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments. Assess pupils’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain effective classroom management and discipline. Identify pupils’ learning needs and provide appropriate individual support. Encourage pupils’ creativity, confidence, critical thinking, and social development. Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic performance, and classroom activities. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding pupils’ progress and behaviour.
Key Requirements: Minimum of NCE, B.Ed., or Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject. TRCN certification/registration is an added advantage. Previous teaching experience in a primary school setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum and teaching methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
