SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons based on the approved curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and classroom activities. Teach topics related to society, culture, citizenship, government, family, community, and national development. Help students understand their roles and responsibilities as members of society. Promote good citizenship, patriotism, tolerance, respect, and social responsibility. Encourage critical thinking and informed discussion of social issues. Use real-life examples, case studies, discussions, and group activities to enhance learning. Assess students through tests, assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations. Monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback. Identify students who require additional academic support and provide appropriate assistance. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, assessments, and student progress.
