Trained 300 young entrepreneurs in digital business and enterprise management; 33 startups received ₦90M+ in equipment grants.
The Enugu/MTN ICT and Business Skills Training Program, implemented in partnership with MTN Foundation, Microsoft, and Meta, successfully trained 300 young entrepreneurs (aged 18-35) across Enugu State over a Zve-week period. The program focused on equipping participants with cutting-edge digital and business competencies to boost productivity, innovation, and market access. Microsoft led sessions on Digital Age Entrepreneurship, ICT for Business Enhancement, and Generative Al Skills, while Meta delivered hands-on training through its Meta Boost Small Business Studios, covering online branding, customer outreach, and digital visibility. These modules enabled participants to refine business models, improve operational efficiency, and adopt Al-driven marketing and productivity tools.
As a result of the program, 33 outstanding entrepreneurs were awarded equipment grants totaling #90,000,000 to scale their businesses. This initiative has significantly enhanced the capacity of Enugu's youth-led enterprises, strengthened the digital economy ecosystem, and fostered inclusive innovation across the state.
