The Enugu TradEX Programme is a technology-driven initiative built to empower 1,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), traders, producers, artisans, and export-focused businesses across Enugu State.
It goes far beyond conventional training, combining safe-paced digital learning, business formalization, financial inclusion, and direct marketplace access through the TradEX ecosystem.
Rather than a one-off workshop, it is an end-to-end enterprise development journey. Beneficiaries learn at their own pace, apply what they learn immediately, and grow step by step leaving the programme with a live, functional, and formalized digital business.

What is the cost of the ENUGU TRADEX PROGRAMME (ETP)?
ETP is a transformative, technology-driven initiative designed to empower 1,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), traders, producers, artisans, and export-focused businesses across Enugu State. It is free for all beneficiaries. No hidden charges for enrolment, training, CAC registration, storefront creation, or merchant account setup.
Who is eligible?
All micro, small, and medium enterprises (SMEs) including traders, market associations, manufacturers, farmers, agro-processors, artisans, and service providers. Informal businesses are strongly encouraged to apply.
How many courses are there, and how long is each?
There are 12 courses. Each course is 1 hour 30 minutes. Total training time is 18 hours. Complete them at your own pace one course per day, one per week, or whatever suits your schedule
Do I have to complete all 12 courses?
To qualify for the storefront, CAC registration, and bank account benefits, you must complete at least 80% of the core curriculum and pass the final assessment
Do I need a computer?
No. The courses are designed for smartphones and tablets.
What if I get stuck during a course?
We provide 24-hour helpdesk support and dedicated facilitators to assist you at every step.
What is Structural Formalisation?
We help your business become a legal entity through CAC registration and help you open a formal business bank account essential for accessing credit and government procurement opportunities
What documents are needed for CAC registration?
A valid ID of the business owner, a preferred business name, and basic business details. The programme guides you through the entire process step by step
Do I need my own products to join?
No. You can use dropshipping to sell from a catalogue of over 1 million products with zero inventory risk
How does dropshipping work?
You select products from our catalogue to feature in your store. When a customer buys, TradEX handles fulfilment. You keep the profit margin - no inventory, no warehouse.
What happens after my storefront goes live?
TradEX provides ongoing marketing support, including product photography, search engine visibility, and social media promotion.
How long does the full 8-stage pathway take?
Screening takes 3–5 days. Training is self-paced most participants finish in 2–3 weeks. Storefront build and bank account setup run in parallel after eligibility is confirmed. Most participants are live within 4–6 weeks of starting.
