The 2nd Edition of the Enugu 042 NaijaBrandChick Trade Fair, held on 30th-31st August 2025 at the International Conference Center, Enugu, was a landmark event that redefined MSME engagement, trade, and innovation in Nigeria's Southeast.
Over the course of two days, the fair attracted more than 2,000 attendees and featured over 100 vendors from 22 Nigerian states and 3 countries, offering products across sectors such as food, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and tech. Estimated sales exceeded N640 million, with top vendors grossing up to N45 million. Strategic highlights included the Peter Naira stimulus initiative, seamless digital payment adoption, free booths for local SMEs, and dedicated business development support - all contributing to enhanced visibility, growth, and revenue for participating businesses.
The fair's broader economic impact included the creation of over 1,100 jobs, N96 million in IGR potential, N230+ millior in made-in-Enugu product sales, and N55 million in tourism and hospitality spend. These results align with Governor Dr. Peter Mbah's N30 billion GDP vision, reinforcing Enugu's emergence as a national leader in commerce and SME-led development.
