Summary of the Enugu Tech Talent (ETT) Program.
The Enugu Tech Talent (ETT) Program is a fully funded digital skills training initiative launched by the Enugu State Government through the Enugu SME Center, in strategic partnership with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy (FMCIDE) under the national 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Program. We are proud to be recognized as the first public sector and subnational entity in Nigeria to serve as an Assisted Learning Center (ALC) under this transformative federal initiative. The ETT Program aims to train 50,000 youths annually, equipping them with globally competitive, in-demand digital skills across 10 decentralized training facilities known as Digital Skill Enhancement Zones (D-SEZs).
Key training areas include: • Software Development & Coding UI/UX Design • Data Science & Al/Machine Learning Data Analysis & Visualization Product Management
The pilot phase is currently training 5,000 participants across the state. Each D-SEZ provides learners with hands-on training, personalized mentorship, and access to career development opportunities designed to prepare them for global digital jobs and entrepreneurship. This initiative positions Enugu State as Nigeria's leading subnational hub for digital workforce development, fostering youth employment, innovation, and inclusive economic transformation.
