About this programme
Drives digital literacy, cybersecurity development, and digital-economy coordination across the South-East region.
The NITDA Southeastern Regional Office, located in Enugu, is a strategic extension of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), designed to bring federal digital economy initiatives closer to the Southeast region.
The office serves as a regional hub for innovation, digital skills training, cybersecurity, and ICT policy implementation. It will coordinate NITA's programs across the Southeast, support startups, drive digital literacy, and promote compliance with national data protection laws. The center will also facilitate broadband infrastructure planning, e-governance support, and regional access to federal ICT resources.
Its launch, scheduled for April 2025, will begin with a two-month Cybersecurity Training Program, underscoring its role in building a digitally secure, skilled, and innovation-driven Southeast.
