The Enugu VSAT Training Program 2025 is a high-impact capacity-building initiative aimed at equipping young people and professionals across Enugu State with practical skills in satellite communications and broadband (VSAT) technologies. Delivered in partnership with the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) and the Enugu SME Center / Office of Digital Economy & MSMEs, this program is a key part of the state’s digital transformation agenda under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.

The Enugu VSAT Training Program 2025

The Enugu VSAT Training Program 2025 is a hands-on, technical training initiative designed to equip 100 young people and professionals from Enugu State with practical skills in satellite communications and broadband (VSAT) technology. It is implemented in partnership with the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) and coordinated by the Enugu SME Center / Office of Digital Economy & MSMEs.

VSAT stands for Very Small Aperture Terminal—a satellite-based communication system used to provide internet access and data services in locations where terrestrial infrastructure is unavailable or unreliable.

Applicants must be 18–35 years old, from or residing in Enugu State, have at least an SSCE qualification, demonstrate interest or background in ICT, engineering, or telecoms, and be available for the full training duration.

Yes. The training is fully sponsored by NIGCOMSAT in collaboration with the Enugu State Government. Selected participants will receive free training, mentorship, and certification.

Participants will receive full access to training materials and toolkits. Limited accommodation may be provided for out-of-town participants. Lunch or refreshments may be included.

The training will be held in Enugu Metropolis. The exact venue will be communicated to selected applicants.

The training lasts seven (7) days, including classroom sessions, field practicals, and certification activities.

Yes. Successful participants will receive a NIGCOMSAT-endorsed certificate.

Graduates can work as VSAT technicians, start their own broadband service businesses, or support rural broadband and digital infrastructure deployment projects.
