Enugu SME/ Turing Tech Training Program
Enugu SME Turing Tech Training Program is a state-backed digital workforce initiative designed by the Enugu State Government through the Enugu SME Center (under the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Digital Economy and MSMEs) in partnership with Turing Technology Limited, a global remote work platform and Capitis Global to train and place Enugu youth in high-paying international remote tech roles.
Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old from any part of the world, be digitally literate and available to commit 20 hours a week for training.
The 12-month program will train participants in Full stack Web Development (Frontend and Backend Development)
We have provision for Hybrid and Full online participation in the training; this means you can decide to join the training fully online, or Hybrid.
Yes! We strongly recommend that you join the program with a laptop as it is 100% practical based.
No. The courses are designed for beginners and build gradually to job-ready proficiency; however, we strongly recommend that you are digitally literate.
Yes! This program has been designed to encourage every interested participant.
The total cost of the training is $5,000 (Five Thousand Dollars) which you will pay after you have completed the training and have been offered a job with a minimum of $1,500 (One Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars) monthly earnings.
No! You are only required to pay N400,000 (Four Hundred Thousand Naira) only to register for the training, this will be deducted from the $5,000 (Five Thousand Dollars) total tuition fee.
You are expected to pay back the $5000 tuition after 12 Months of your training and when you have been successfully matched with a job upon meeting all criteria’s.
No loan is taken upfront. After job placement, deductions will be made from Year 1 salary to repay training costs. From Year 2 onward, the participant retains their full salary.
Graduates are guaranteed job placement through Turing Tech Ltd. with international companies, starting from $1,500 (One Thousand, Five Hundred Naira) per month.
Year 1 net take-home: ₦1.06 million per month after you’ve paid for your part tuition; Year 2 onward: ₦2.28 million per month.
₦1,066,666.67 per month (₦12.8 million annually), this is your take home salary monthly after paying the ₦1,333,333.33 total monthly deduction which covers your placement and other career Services Fee.
Only ₦120,000 Career Services Fee remains. Trainees earn ₦2,280,000/month (₦27.36 million/year).
At least 100 youth per cohort will be trained and placed.
Yes, successful graduates will receive certificates of completion and earn job-based certifications.
No! It is important to note that any default in attendance, assignments or default in weekly course-work will affect your job placement and we won’t be held liable.
